Speak a Task. Confirm It. Get Reminded.
Capture a to-do the moment you think of it, in your own words. MeetMemo reads the date and time, asks about anything ambiguous, and sets the reminder only after you confirm.
Built in the current test version of the app, not yet publicly released or fully verified on devices.

Why voice for tasks
The best time to capture a follow-up is the second you leave a meeting, usually walking, usually with one hand free. Typing a task with a date and a reminder takes a dozen taps. Saying "remind me to send the revised scope to Priya on Friday at 3 pm" takes five seconds.
How it works
- Tap the microphone in the task editor and say your task.
- MeetMemo turns your speech into text using Android's built-in speech recognition.
- It reads the date, time and priority from your wording and shows you the task it understood.
- If something is ambiguous, it asks you. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
- The task is saved with a reminder, and you can edit any field.
You can also type the same sentence. The parser works on text either way.
What gets checked, not guessed
- Ambiguous times. "At 5" with no AM or PM prompts a question.
- Ambiguous dates. Numeric dates such as 04/05 can mean April 5 or May 4, so MeetMemo asks.
- Missing time or date. A date without a time asks for the time. A time without a date assumes the next time it occurs and tells you.
- Times in the past. These are flagged rather than silently scheduled.
- Vague times of day. "In the morning" is flagged so that you can set a real time.
Limits and requirements
- English only. The date and time parser understands English. In other languages you can type or edit tasks manually.
- Speech recognition is Android's. The microphone input uses your phone's speech service. Depending on your device settings, that service may process audio online. MeetMemo does not send your task audio to its own servers.
- Reminders are local. They are scheduled on your phone and need the notification permission.
- Accuracy. Names and unusual words can be misheard. Review the task before you confirm.
Tasks created from meetings work the same way. See meeting action items.
Frequently asked questions
Does voice-to-task send my voice to MeetMemo?
No. Speech recognition uses Android's service on your phone. MeetMemo only receives the resulting text inside the app, where it stays on your device.
What if it gets the date wrong?
You see the interpreted date before saving, and you can edit it.
Can I create recurring tasks?
Yes. Tasks can repeat, and completing one rolls it forward to the next occurrence.
Is this released?
It is in development in the current test version and has not yet been verified across devices or publicly released.
