FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers about what MeetMemo does, what it does not do, and how your data is handled.

Availability

Can I download MeetMemo today?

Not yet. The Android app is in development and not publicly released. Join early access and we will email you when it is ready.

Is there an iPhone or web version?

No. MeetMemo is being built for Android. We have not announced other platforms.

How do I know which features are ready?

Each feature page shows a status, and the features page lists them all. "In development" means built in the current test version but not publicly released.

Recording and meetings

Does MeetMemo join Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams calls?

No. It records through your phone's microphone or camera, or you import a recording you already have. See meeting recording.

Can I record phone calls?

Android restricts access to call audio and MeetMemo does not try to bypass that. Results depend on your device.

Do I need people's permission to record?

Often yes. Laws vary by country and by situation. Tell participants and get consent where required. Read the recording consent guide. It is general information, not legal advice.

Which files can I import?

Audio: mp3, m4a, aac, wav, ogg, oga, flac, amr, 3gp, opus. Video: mp4, mov, webm, mkv, m4v.

How long can a recording be?

You can record for as long as your storage allows, but a recording longer than about 95 minutes cannot be transcribed in one go.

AI notes, transcripts and accuracy

How accurate are the transcripts and notes?

They are drafts. Accuracy depends on audio quality, accents, language and crosstalk, and AI can make mistakes. Always review before relying on or sharing them.

What does "confirmed decision" versus "proposed idea" mean?

MeetMemo only lists something as a decision when participants clearly agreed. Suggestions and "maybes" go in a separate list. See AI meeting notes.

Which languages are supported?

You can choose AI output language from 13: English, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian and Indonesian. The app interface is only partly translated, and voice task parsing is English-only.

Can I ask questions about old meetings?

Yes. Search runs on your device, and you can choose to ask AI for an answer based on the best-matching excerpts, which lists its sources. See searchable meeting history.

Privacy and data

Where is my meeting data stored?

On your device, encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore. MeetMemo's servers hold your account email, preferences, subscription status and usage counts, not your meeting content.

When does my content leave my device?

Only when you start an AI action and agree to it. Audio, transcript text or search excerpts are sent over HTTPS to the MeetMemo server, which forwards them to an AI service and does not keep a copy. The AI provider processes data under its own terms. See the Privacy Policy.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. The app lets you delete transcripts and notes, clear temporary files, erase everything on the device and delete your account.

Pricing and subscriptions

How much does it cost?

The planned plans are Free and Pro. See pricing. Launch prices are not final.

How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions are bought in the Android app through Google Play Billing and managed in Google Play. This website does not take payments.

What happens when I hit a monthly limit?

The app tells you the limit has been reached for that action. Your existing data stays available. Limits reset monthly.

Documents

What documents can MeetMemo create?

Meeting minutes, project briefs, requirements specifications, scopes of work, proposals, quotations and estimates, progress reports and custom documents, exported as PDF with your branding. See branded business documents.

Are documents ready to send as soon as they are generated?

No. They are drafts for your review. Prices, tax and payment terms for quotations must be confirmed by you.
