Meeting Transcription You Can Review and Correct
Convert a recorded meeting or an imported audio or video file into a timestamped transcript, then fix names and numbers before you rely on it.
Built in the current test version of the app, not yet publicly released or fully verified on devices.
We would like the new site live before the autumn campaign starts.
Five core pages for now. A blog could come later if the budget allows.
Let's aim for the fourteenth of November, and we will send copy by the twenty-fourth.

What you get
MeetMemo creates a text transcript of the conversation with timestamps, so you can jump from a line of text back to the exact moment in the recording. The transcript is the foundation for summaries, action items and searchable history.
What you can transcribe
- Recordings made in MeetMemo, audio or video
- Imported audio: mp3, m4a, aac, wav, ogg, oga, flac, amr, 3gp and opus files
- Imported video: mp4, mov, webm, mkv and m4v files, using their audio track
Importing is useful when a meeting was already recorded somewhere else, such as a phone call you recorded with the system recorder or a file a colleague shared. Make sure you have the right to use any recording you import.
How it works
- Open a recording and choose to transcribe it.
- MeetMemo shows what will be sent and asks for your agreement. The audio is uploaded over HTTPS to the MeetMemo server, which passes it to an AI transcription service and returns the text.
- The transcript is saved on your device, encrypted, with its timestamps.
- You read and correct it. Corrections are saved with the transcript.
Languages
You choose the language used for AI output from 13: English, Hindi, Bengali, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Italian and Indonesian. Accuracy varies by language, accent and audio quality, and the app interface itself is only partly translated today. English, Spanish, French and Hindi have translated sign-in, onboarding and home screens. Voice task parsing works in English only.
Limits and requirements
- Length. Because of the upload limit of the transcription service, a recording longer than about 95 minutes cannot be transcribed in one go. The app warns you before you try.
- Plan limits. Transcription is metered in minutes per month: 60 on Free and 600 on Pro. See pricing.
- Internet. Transcription needs a connection, because the audio is processed by an AI service. Recording does not.
- Accuracy. Noise, crosstalk and distance from the microphone lower accuracy. Always review the transcript before using it for anything important.
- Consent. Tell people you are recording them and get their agreement where the law or good practice requires it. See our recording consent guide.
